ScotClans Offers The Largest Range Of Scottish Made Products Online
Our new ScotClans site now offers one of the largest selections of genuine Scottish made merchandise under one website.
Made In Scotland - Why this is important to us and why it should be important to you too..
At Scotclans we are committed to selling genuine high quality Scottish-made merchandise, only when goods are not manufactured in Scotland of a similar type do we go to outside suppliers and when this is done we will tell you.
There are many less reputable businesses that are are using the term 'designed in Scotland' to fob off inferior merchandise to an unsuspecting public - not knowing that the goods are only using traditional designs and the products themselves are being manufactured in the Far East - and in poor conditions with predictable results.
Do not do business with companies that trade like this - they are cheating you and they are destroying the local crafts - many small retailers and manufacturers are in dire trouble because of this threat - don't help to put them out of business.
Scotclans is committed to supporting local manufacturers and retailers whether in competition with us or not - we believe that our prices fall within an acceptable band and are not excessively undercutting our neighbors - we believe that only through a spirit of co-operation among Scottish retailers (and e-tailers) we can overcome this threat by making you aware that when you purchase from us you are purchasing quality and longevity - we sell goods you will be able to pass down, not pass into the bin.
If you don't buy from us and do go somewhere else please please make sure you ask them where the goods are MADE - if they cant give you a satisfactory answer walk away.
Don't get us wrong - this is not a flag waving nationalistic statement - neither is it some racist slur on overseas manufacturing - we only wish to alert you to the flood of cheap, badly manufactured goods currently swamping this sector that has no right to be here.
