Glasgow Town Plan From 1851

Description

Large 24x20 (60x50cm) Photo Quality Print
Railways are yet to cross the River Clyde flowing through the centre of this Victorian plan of Glasgow in Scotland. This map of 1851 by John Tallis is finished with attractive illustrations of the Royal Exchange, Glasgow Cathedral, Royal Bank of Scotland, The University, New Bridge and a most splendid Victorian View of Glasgow from The Green. Illustrated maps like this were something of a rarity in the 1850s so these maps are quite unusual. This high quality photographic reproduction map is printed on Fujicolour photographic paper and is ready to frame. Non stock item please see notes below for added delivery times.
