The Clan Davidson Association (UK):
We are a friendly clan association with a wide interest in all aspects of the Davidson name. We have members around the world and we hold a Clan Gathering weekend in Scotland each year at which Clan members can meet and socialize. We also occasionally host informal Clan gatherings in Northern Ireland

Clan members receive a Newsletter three times a year, and an annual journal, The Pheon, with more in-depth articles. The Clan Davidson Society, USA, Inc. will be sponsoring an International Gatheringof Clan Davidson in June 2011. The weekend event will be held in conjunction with the Kansas City Scottish Highland Games. This will be only the second Clan Davidson International Gathering to be held outside of Scotland and the first in North America in recognition of the fact that the modern Clan Davidson is truly a Global Entity.

Lindsay Davidson
Lindsay Davidson has been Pipe-Major to the Clan Davidson Association since 1992. He was the first person in the world to finish any music academy majoring as a ‘piper and has founded several pipe bands and a music school, for which he developed a new system of teaching piping, adopted across the world. A major part of Lindsay's activity is promoting and developing piping in the western art field. In addition to his own compositions, Lindsay has given concerts, workshops and papers all over the world and he has premiered pieces composed specially for him.
