MacDuff People

William Duff
Earl of Fife and Viscount MacDuff built Duff House in 1740 for a cost of over £70.95,000.  He never saw it finished after quarrels with the architect, William Adam.

Now restored the house is open to the public.

Alexander DuffAlexander Duff (1849-1912)
The Sixth Earl of Fife, he married HRH Princess Louise, daughter of future King Edward VII in 1889 and became Duke of Fife.
