Duncan Bàn MacIntyre (1724-1812)
Born in Glenorchy Duncan Ban MacIntyre lived as a forester and is famous for his Gaelic poetry. He received the privilege of a publication in his own lifetime.

His work recorded his love and knowledge of nature in a disintegrating society.
