Our Kilts are all hand stitched. The shaping is all within the pleats which gives the kilt an amazing fit, curving into your back, rather than the shape being in the aprons. The kicking pleat hangs straight . When you buy from us you are speaking directly with the Kilt Maker.

Heavyweight Hand Stitched Kilts
All our kilts are hand stitched, made by us. Heavyweight Kilts are made with 16oz Wool Tartan. Heavyweight is ideal for both slim and larger gentlemen, but if a larger gentleman was choosing a kilt we would always point them to the heavyweight first. A very slim man may be better in a medium weight kilt.
The price difference between these two Heavyweight Kilts is just because they come from different mills and now is less expensive so we have passed on the savings to you. The Quality of the kilts is exactly the same.
Medium Weight Hand Stitched Kilts
Medium Weight (13 oz) is ideal for slimmer to average sized Gentlemen. With medium weight we are able to get a few extra pleats which gives the kilt a slightly better swing. The sett size (repeating pattern) is a bit smaller than the heavier weight.
Tweed Kilts
The tweed we use is 16oz heavyweight wool tweed. The Quality of this tweed makes wonderful kilts. The kilts are all hand stiched by us.

Welsh and Irish Kilts
These are both medium weight kilts, hand stitched by us.
The Welsh tartans come from the Welsh Tartan Centre in Wales and the Irish ones are woven here in Scotland.
